Dr. Yangtian Lu holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from Kyoto University. He has been selected for China’s National Young Talent Program and the Zhejiang Provincial Young Talent Program. Before joining the Zhejiang Research Institute of Chemical Industry, he served as an Assistant Professor at Kyoto University.
Dr. Lu currently leads the development of PFAS-free surfactant alternatives and related fluoropolymer synthesis and processing technologies. With over ten years of research experience in polymer science, he possesses comprehensive expertise spanning theoretical computation, organic synthesis, polymerization, structural characterization, and materials property analysis.
He has published six SCI papers, including four in top-tier journals (Q1), and holds eighteen invention patents, including one PCT. Dr. Lu has been invited to present at international conferences such as the ACS Annual Meeting, the Pacifichem Conference, and the IUPAC Congress, receiving five presentation awards for his research excellence.
