Dr. Pan obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Science from Sun Yat-sen University and is a certified toxicologist in China. She currently oversees the National Center for Quality and Safety Risk Assessment of Import and Export Commodities (Food-related Products) and serves as the head of a primary risk monitoring site at IQTC.
Dr. Pan has long been engaged in research on risk management of food contact materials, technical trade barriers assessment, and standardization work. Her expertise covers a wide range of materials and professional areas, including bamboo and wood, paper and board, composite materials, printing inks, and declaration of compliance.
She has led or participated in the development and revision of more than 20 national, industrial, and group standards for food contact materials. At present, she is leading the formulation of inspection procedures for imported food contact materials.
