With the continuous global emphasis on food safety and quality, the food contact materials industry is facing numerous new challenges and opportunities. In the context of globalization, the development of standards, regulatory requirements, and the demand for technological innovation in the field of food contact materials are becoming increasingly diverse and complex. In addition, the growing awareness of sustainability and environmental protection has introduced new expectations and challenges for the industry.
Against this backdrop, 2024 International Food Contact Materials Safety Symposium will be held on November 7–8, 2024, in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. Under the theme “From Today to the Future”, the forum will bring together legislative officials from government authorities, scientists from the research community, regulatory officers, and industry professionals for face-to-face exchanges. Participants will gain valuable insights into current regulatory developments and future outlooks, scientific research achievements, the latest industry trends, as well as the key issues and challenges facing food contact materials safety.
In addition, core experts from national standards drafting working groups will be specially invited to provide training on newly issued national safety standards for food contact materials, helping enterprises stay up to date with regulatory changes and requirements, and strengthen compliance management and quality control practices.
